Out Of The Honey Factor

In a rural place that had a dream like setting and bordered another country there was a company that was dedicated to second chances. Mature Starters was an agency that placed talent with the thought that one may find joy after figuring out they were trapped in a community that looks good despite losing energy at times.

“Bonita Rapids a fictional account of crossing the border that will be a big hit enjoy your camino de estrella,” a business tie wearing worker stated while escorting his latest client to the door, “star path in Spanish,” he clarified to those sitting reading magazines in the waiting room.

One patiently waiting was Carrie Taylor who felt taking off her turf in the one thing that she claimed solely hers in a lifetime commitment to raising a family. Married to her high school sweetheart and without many bumps in life’s journey the idea to visit Mature Starters was planted when she went Carrie Oking with girl friends from the substitution secretary pool. And it was not being out of money that led her to fill out an application at the creative corporate business. Instead it was more like being out of the honey factor that drove her to the establishment that had late hours while the local bars were promoting after work specials.

“Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Taylor,” another employee called in the same way a student nurse would open one’s door inside a doctor’s office.

Putting down the periodical about the recent mass media sensation Mrs. Taylor identified herself before heading to one of the rooms.

“Mrs. Taylor do you want to be a famous rock star or find some energy that will jolt the real spark plug in your life?” Tony Simms inquired.

“Tony, well I am caught behind a rock and hard place,” Mrs. Taylor stated knowing it was not out of money that was triggering this trip, “I am out of the honey,”

“Really out of the honey factor and you want to rise like a phoenix and defend your turf here in paradise,” Tony concluded and Mrs. Taylor moved her lips saying ‘yes’, “we here at Mature Starter want the option to claim that you find personal happiness here at Mature Starter.”

Picking up the phone he called the front desk, “Georgee, can you get every day value package number 3”. Then hanging up his attention returned to Mrs. Taylor, “I know exactly what you need.”

Within seconds Georgee Huff entered the scene carrying a flashy gold ensemble, “So, Mrs. Taylor they must have had to clear the mine to put all that glitter on that dress.”

Mrs. Taylor’s eyes sparkled, “You know Mrs. Taylor with computers we can perform miracles and all it takes is one zap to bring back the energy to your pleasurable power source.”

“Like getting your car battery jumped before taking the kids to school,” Mrs. Taylor interpreted then handed him the credit card that had her husband’s name.

“Georgee, take Mrs. Taylor to dressing room number,” Tony paused, “five and recording studio number,” a pause inserted again “4”

Feeling a little stronger from this electrical moment Mrs. Taylor’s lights started to come on, “Mrs. Taylor, when you leave Georgee will have your Mature Starter Allowance inside an envelope.

Later that evening while the children were watching a television show based on a comic book Mrs. Taylor sat on the same high school couch she made out with her husband as a teenager. “Do you want to watch a movie?” She lured a question, “why don’t you put this DVD in?”

It didn’t take long for her husband to put his arm around Mrs. Taylor in loving fashion, “Honey I hope you do not take my expression the wrong way but you look and sound great.”

And when that was said Mrs. Taylor knew, “she was no longer out of the honey, instead she had the honey factor back.”
