Volunteers are wonderful and will help to meet the need, But we must change the literature on which our children feed. We must teach and model absolutes of love, and justice, too; Prove to them that what we say, is just what we will do. There is one book, and it alone, will help attain success. It is the book, our fathers brought, to tame this wilderness. They used the Bible as their guide, the written Word of God; And found the wisdom written there, the greatest on this sod. Whether it was in the home, in public, or in school, The bible was the blueprint that became their greatest tool. Let's trash the recent literature before it is too late; Teach again, the basic values, that made our nation great. Surely it is evident, without a single doubt, That truth and right mus be invoked to help our children out. So, let's scour all the nation, and get folks to volunteer That believe the principles our precious kids should hear. If they are dependable, and use the proper tact, Volunteers can help to get our children back on track.

Eliza has a ton of potential. She is still a little raw but is very fast and athletic. Eliza is a player who you like more and more each time you see her. She is someone we always knew had the ability, but she will continue to improve. I believe the sky is the limit for her. She's an athlete that has split time between track and soccer, and when she gets the chance to have all the eggs in one basket at Memphis, she will continue to excel.

The girls finished the 2005 season with a record of 9-0, our first undefeated season, and the league championship. This year's girls group is our largest and most talented team. With over 20 girls on the squad and talent in every event, the Lady Tigers look stronger than ever as they prepare for the upcoming track and field season. Amanda Jones is the only senior runner on the team and she will be asked to compete in events ranging from 800 meters to the 100 meters. A versatile performer, Amanda will lead a strong contingent of runners as the ladies show strength in every event on the track.

I think for Chris to get within 0.6 of a second of pole is a great achievement, given what we have gone through this weekend so far. His position doesn't quite reflect what might have been as he had to deal with traffic on his fastest lap. Unfortunately, in race trim the gap between us and the faster runners - in terms of consistency - will be greater than it was in qualifying. This is down to a number of reasons that the team can't fix here at the track.
