With eight returning starters on both sides, we have a little more experience to take in a setting like that. Probably very few people realized Utah was a BCS-caliber team at that time, and that wasn't much fun. ... The biggest plus is maturity and experience, which we couldn't claim at a lot of positions last season.

Wake is one of our most reliable starters and he has been over the years. It's a good thing there is no break, but he's going to be very sore.

We have 15 starters back next year and our expectations today remain the same as before Vince's decision. We are defending national champions and will move forward.

I know all of the calls and stuff, I just am not the one necessarily calling them out. I usually just have to listen to them. I have to get in that book a little. I'm going in with the mindset that I might have to play the game. I don't know how long the starters will be in there but it looks like I might have to go in there with the second unit and play center.

This group's pretty amazing Ã?â?? to start out 0-3 and end up 21-6 and going to the final four with four starters gone from last year. We've had more talented teams in the 28 years that I've been here but I've never seen a group of kids with actually more heart to get after people.
