The one who wrote, Truth is self-evident, was correct...profoundly in touch with spiritual Truth. I have said this before, but I will say it again, if I have to convince myself, as to whether something is right or wrong, go though a litany of gymnastic thought -- it is probably wrong! Truth doesn't require knowledge...it does not require proving -- it is like God's presence -- we just know...and that fact is unshakable, regardless of the profound consequences.

Apt words for those who, despite insurmountable odds, endeavor in noble pursuits. Whose reward, though it may not lie in victory, must pay due regard to those elements of character which belie a righteous resolve and willingness to struggle in the face of overwhelming adversity.

Don't do something you regret so you won't regret something you did.

We all have our sad or regretful times, when there’s some soul searching to be done, thy will be done.

A hidden treasure under the cottoned-garment can only be mined when a knot-rope is tightened by the prayer's-lead before the congregation — and the king will enjoy his moment in the fleshy-throne of his kingdom.

Disrespect is the sum total of how a person rates you, a true reflection of their perception of who you are. So no matter how flimsy or insignificant disrespect is, I will not tolerate it. I respect people regardless of age, gender or status and I expect nothing less in return. Once I perceive any iota of disrespect I will respectfully remove myself from the scene to protect my emotional health and preserve my self esteem

Remorse and regret is all left in chaos,
See where we lie, grave of our own.

" They who still live for this world are in Darkness in the Light of the Dying. But they are Enlightened with the Light of The Living, who, despising the Light of the World, return to the Splendor of the Inward Brightness that they may live in that place where they may see, by feeling it, the True Light, where Light and Life are not different from each other, but where the Light itself is Life also." -St.Gregory

And as I leave for the last time
I turn around to see the faces
Faces I loved
Faces I hated
And most regretfully those I never had seen long enough to do either.

You have probably made yourself too present for others if you observe that they begin to disregard and take advantage of you. Be less present and more absent.
