We are born with inner power...often released when least expected -- not an intellectual awakening but a spiritual one. One teaches us, while the latter transforms us.

Storms are integral parts of the seasons —they come and go. ~Nkwachukwu Ogbuagu

I hate to fail exams. I prefer they fail me. ~ Nkwachukwu Ogbuagu

Politicians use privatization to steer blame away from themselves.

In America the right to bear arms shall supercede the preservation of life.

Computer programs will improve one another into extinction. Intuition, the unseen, unpredictable, only what cannot be exactly programmed is the substance that makes something divinely real. Everything else is just lifeless duplication.

“You have to be able to validate yourself as a Poet. There are thousands of poems floating around and not everyone will enjoy your particular poem > neither should you expect them to > that’s OK. But someone out there will resonate or you would not have been called upon to articulate it.” GhairoDanielsQuotes

“Your age may define your years, but your dreams define your future. Dare to dream, and have the courage to begin.”

In every dark, a flicker of light --
Why I advocate dreams….

Quoting God seems nearly impossible, lost in translation, yet He offers His Son, who we find nearly impossible to imitate, yet as we grow closer and closer to the Lord, we find that even given our limitations, people indeed see God in us.

A life of satisfaction can be the graveyard of dreams.
A life of success is where dreams become reality.

"Romantic love is where reality and dreams kiss" /// 2026-07-20

True love is solid as a tree standing patiently, with outstretched arms and all its charms displayed perfectly.

Actions themselves don´t lead us to Salvation, but what we reject can lead us to it. June 2026.

We are billions of spiritual atoms of clay compressed, myself doubting that God made me that quickly, haphazardly as biblically misinterpreted. Maybe just my daily garment off the rack.

Love is like an anchor; holding us still through all the storms.

To know who you are is to find your authentic self.
If they want to be like others, then they have lost themselves.
I know who I am and not what they want me to be; for this, I am truly free.

With me poetry is about subduing one's conditioned mental reflexes, and allowing purer inert forces to take control of the stylus. In short, poetry should be about transcending the physical into realms of the metaphysical. The heart of great writing is spiritual and not commercial. One must take the "I" out of a work as much as creatively possible.

Know the difference between oppression & suppression. Oppression is overt, can easily be identified & “conquered”. Suppression happens in subtle realms of consciousness, is subconscious or unconscious. Many sophisticated, educated masculines, are involved in suppression of feminines for fear of descending into subconscious realm to unshackle masculine domination/control there. Unless we recognise how this suppression is exercised to retain egoic selves, we remain trapped in humanity’s prisons.

To unveil the hidden gems
requires the absence of light.

My love, my king, now you can sing; making me feel excited to hear you in my dreams.

Like an ocean breeze, love takes us into our dreams. Riding on the waves, we feel relaxed and calm with each wave.

I don't want her kiss, don't need to hold her hand, nor feel her arms around me. All of that has evolved into her most constant presence in my heart.

|
You gave me something endless that no one's ever seen, and centuries after midnight you'll always fill my dreams.

If you want to call yourself a Poet, don’t let anyone speak on your behalf - speak in own poetic voice. Don’t let anybody else speak about your abuse, expériences or healing. You not only give away your poetic license, you give away your power to feel completely. Any trauma will be diluted in this way & your cycles of repressed emotion will remain repressed in fragments. Worse, it will be coloured by someone else calling themselves collaborators. This is a sophisticated form of power usurping.

There is no point in writing poems that are good: they need to be astonishing.

Some are courtrooms, some are debate classes, some are boxing rings and some are merry-go-rounds; either way you lose.

please support my younger poems on PoetrySoup under Briyanna Lawes. I lost access that login but would love for my readers to be able to interpret, constructively critique and give input regarding my voice, growth, & overall journey as an individual who always had writing as not only an outer, but a savour.
Nothing but love, respect, thanks and gratitude for all that Take the time to read my words <3
