I can only live within my means, not a circle of dreams. Too old to change,
and this is my destiny

Senior moments can be very empowering. Just because I’m used up and not good for much doesn’t mean I’m used up and not good for much. That’s ageism.

Just life...no more no less. Up to us to make something of it, give it meaning worthy of the power and potential.

" who learn to give you self respect means you spend worked with them"

What is awake, if not open to our own growth and new inspiration which when in tune with spirit is infinite? Awake should simply mean alert and nothing more. Only a fool thinks he really knows anything.

Just because you know how to cry does not mean you should attend every funeral.

Free Will. It means that we not only can make choices, but we also control alternative variables unlimited. Though we have individualized souls we are part of Universal Consciousness. What affects one affects all. We create our own physical and mental reality. Time we stop abusing God's miracle gift to humanity.

Men are designed to be warriors, but, does that mean that they must wipe each other out? No, it means that men must endure life´s difficulties, to build, to improve, to assist others and help those in need. August 2026.

“Life does not become meaningful when everything is perfect; it becomes meaningful when we learn to find purpose in every imperfection.”

|
Rather than measuring a moment, it is better to be in the moment, traveling bravely life's unpredictable, and often harrowing trajectory -- one way or another, you will come out the other-side. For the sake of the soul, even death can sometimes be a victory.

Meaning is not an object we find hidden in the world; it is the friction we create by pressing our values against reality.

|
Survival mode is not where we are meant to remain; it is a temporary refuge for the weary soul while it searches for a path forward. Such is life—we stumble, we heal, we endure, and we press on until, one quiet day, we return to the silence from which we came.

For over 340 years people of color did not have the same voting rights as the white majority (if any at all). In 1965 the Voting Rights Act remedied the situation. After a meager 61 years that same white majority has decided they are now the ones being discriminated against. You can't make this stuff up.

You are too beautiful to be measured in the tired categories of the world's expectations.

Not in the hammer of the heart, nor the measured breath of being, but in the sacred interstice betwixt two beats, there abides the ineffable dominion of love.

Without humility, acts mean nothing. March 2026.

“Men, when enthrall’d by the puissant tide of their own affections, are oft but humble clay, unshapen and earthbound; yet they who stand apart and behold such passions with contemplative eye are transmuted into poets. For thus it hath ever seem’d to me that the most guiding and heaven-breathed literature of the world descendeth unto us not in common speech, but array’d in the measured raiment of verse.”

|
"The poet reveals that sufficiency alone governs the secret music of being, immutable, unborrowed, and beyond envy or measure."

|
“In the annulled hush where being sheds its skin,
And place and hour fall mute before the mind,
Primeval meanings—chaste of taint or sin—
Alight, immaculate, from thought unlined.”

|
Just because your emotions are as good as anyone else's doesn't mean your poetry is going to be as good as anyone else's.

|
“Grief, when unmeasured ferments in the grout
quiet, microbial and unwilling to die.”

Purity of form in life is a fallacy. In Poetry this is the same. More and more poets will need to combine forms to stay relevant to the evolution of energy & its true expression. This does not, by any means, negate the movement towards perfection, since perfection is only the exact expression of the Now.

"You were never meant to see your own face."
