Easiest identifiable emotion comes from heart though relations exists in various forms. The community prefers to remain delude with easiest option available. Glamour, the most dominating illusion some how slips out of celluloid screens and transforms every single being.
Aligned with traditions and seen with respect, refurbished with values......life is much beyond.
Every life is a rhapsody deserving legacy... short yet beautiful... may we make it!

Let the heart carry no pain, Let the brain not carry any calculations, Let the actions not carry revenge n agitation, Let the eyes not carry the weak moments, Let the lips not carry the sensations of vengeance. Wrapped up in cozy calmness, keep dropping into your Piggy bank... all the blessings, the Lord bestows out of love.

Insensitivity is cruelty!
Often we fail to see beyond our interests.
Often we fail to see the sufferings we cause to people.
Often we don't turn back what we have spoilt.
Often we don't see that the one who slipped may not be able to rise.

Family members who think they know what you're going through are wrong. You might feel like hating everyone because of your mother, father, brother, sister, or other family members, but you should realize that you should love yourself more than anybody else can and that you should also love them back. Reach out to them, tell them you love and believe in them, and flip anything they have led you to experience around so that you may move forward and be proud of yourself.

Though we think of ourselves as singular, we are also communal, drawing from communal consciousness. The flip-side, we are also distracted by the hustling, the strife of a working day. At night they dream...we write!~ their sleeping dreams, fantasies our dawns for inspiration, tuneful-receptors-firing-poetic-alive.

Mother: the tenderest word on the world's lips. —Khalil Gibran, loose translation/interpretation/paraphrase by Michael R. Burch for Mother's Day 2022

Christ, how I miss you!,
though your parting kiss is still warm on my lips.
Now the floor is not strewn with your stockings and slips
and the dishes are all stacked away.
You left me today...
and each word left unspoken now whispers regrets.
('Absence Makes...' by Michael R. Burch)

I tease her, but she remains tight-lipped ...
if only she'd sipped a little wine!

to live among the daffodil folk...
slip down the rainslickened drainpipe,
suddenly pop out
the GARGANTUAN SPOUT,
minuscule as alice, shout
yippee-yi-yee!
in wee exultant glee
to be leaving behind the LARGE
THREE-DENALI GARAGE.
('escape!' by michael r. burch)

A black ringlet curls to lie
at the nape of her neck,
glistening with sweat
in the evaporate moonlight...
This is what I remember
now that I cannot forget.
And tonight,
if I have forgotten her name,
I remember...
rigid wire and white lace
half-impressed in her flesh,
our soft cries, like regret
...the enameled white clips
of her bra strap
still inscribe dimpled marks
that my kisses erase...
now that I have forgotten her face.
('The Effects of Memory' by Michael R. Burch)
|
Once when her kisses were fire incarnate
and left in their imprint bright lipstick, and flame,
when her breath rose and fell over smoldering dunes,
leaving me listlessly sighing her name ...
('Once' by Michael R. Burch)

Since I first set my lips to your full cup,
Since my pallid face first nested in your hands,
Since I sensed your soul and every bloom lit up—
Till those rare perfumes were lost to deepening sands...
("Love Stronger than Time' by Victor Hugo, loose translation by Michael R. Burch)

Old pantaloons are soft and white,
prudent days, imprudent nights
when fingers slip through drawers to feel
that which they long most to steal.
Old panty loons are soft and white,
prudent days, imprudent nights
when fingers slip through drawers to steal
that which they long most to feel.

(What do men know of love?)
then rolled her eyes toward heaven

Whenever my writing gets rejected,
I always wonder how the rejecter got elected.
Are we exchanging at the same Bourse?
Excepting present company, of course!

Life is full of commas, colons, question marks , sometimes ellipses and many exclamations but in the end there is a full stop. That is the beginning of an another end.

The world is gradually slipping away and, as it does, complexities become simpler again.

Let only peace and tranquility leave my lips,
let only love and serenity dwell in my heart;
let courage and strength live in my soul.
