Poetry is Truth -- and truth connects time and space. If it was true for Plato, it was also true for Shakespeare, and is therefore true for the modern poet. “Men, when enthrall’d by the puissant tide of their own affections, are oft but humble clay, unshapen and earthbound; yet they who stand apart and behold such passions with contemplative eye are transmuted into poets. For thus it hath ever seem’d to me that the most guiding and heaven-breathed literature of the world descendeth unto us not in common speech, but array’d in the measured raiment of verse.”

“In the annulled hush where being sheds its skin,
And place and hour fall mute before the mind,
Primeval meanings—chaste of taint or sin—
Alight, immaculate, from thought unlined.”

The constitution was deemed perfect but the legislatives are putting up gray holes in its laws. It needs not amendment because the law, by nature, is fine. What's lacking is compassion and faith. For the law is made for the human; it's not the human is made for the law.
