I love the desert. The people who inhabit it, an old desert rat myself -- and the creatures that survive in such a challenging environment. Not so estranged from kids growing up in poverty on the streets of New York. All elements of creation have more in common than differences. Sorry Gleick, you are wrong.

For sure, we cannot navigate to treasures new, while still dragging the same-old anchors.

like it or not, the problem with this beautiful Zambia isn't anything rather than greed. Every single Zambian who gets an opportunity to make sense, will rather only want to quickly enrich himself/ themselves at d detriment of others. And yet, nothing, I mean, NOTHING! will happen. This, my brother is the problem.
Patriotism comes when there is progress. Nobody want to tap his chest and say that mad man scavenging from that Waste bin is my son, brother, father, etc.

Rece and religion shouldn't be a hurdle to seek peace. Genocide and terrorism spark anger and make all realize the cruelty of leaders who hunger for power and overlook a peaceful convivence which is the only solution to avoid bloodshed. Aren't these heartless leaders declaring their ego to fulfill a wish to do harm, bringing destruction and death?

Artistry, in what ever form it takes, is the soul singing with pure love to all, that in itself is a beautiful testament of who we really are.

The unprecedented antics and double standards you see from the Left, are Satan's love letters falling from their pockets, as they flail wildly, swinging their hatred for Trump and other dissidents, that challenge their cozy status quo."

The quicksand of anticipation
— the fire below
A changing experience
— is not an experience of change
Captive of emotion
— prisoner of deceit

Pretending to change is easy, changing is elusive.

"2024 will be a challenging year and prosperous for those who do not give up. That which God has given you to do, do it without complaining and success will come your way. Like a boomerang, whatever you throw out will come back.”

I heard a bird singing in the morn' on a bitter cold winter day- it was so sweet and magical.

Truth more in the soaring flight than that of our ever changing scenery ....

To humble oneself is to lower oneself is so wise showing humility, bringing peace and solitude to oneself.

The existence of God is the most satisfying response to the longing of the human heart, the quest of the human mind, and the aspiration of the human soul. Without God, there is no reason to believe that we have a destiny, that we have a purpose, or that we have a hope.
God is the most reasonable inference from the evidence of design, order, and purpose in nature. Without God, there is no reason to believe that the universe is intelligible, that life is meaningful, or that beauty is real.

In forgiveness, bridges are built anew, Spanning divides where hurt once grew, It mends the bond, heals the divide, Bringing solace to both sides.

Life is a delicate dance between holding on and letting go, finding balance in the ever-changing rhythms of existence.

"Thoughts are like clouds, constantly drifting and changing shape, but occasionally revealing glimpses of the divine in their fleeting forms."

Nowadays, it might be challenging to locate someone with decent morals and personality. Furthermore, we shouldn't presume that someone has wonderful character based just on their appearance or their good behavior, just as we shouldn't judge a book by its cover. They may be beneficial to us right now, but circumstances inevitably change. Change happens regularly and frequently in humans. In my opinion there ought to be more trustworthy and honorable people in this society.

~ Wrong investment - when animals die - warning bells are ringing ~
quote by poet
|
A psychologist once asked me, "do you really think that God needs your input when it comes to managing creation?" -- I guess not, no more than I need the presence and love of my wife and children.

beautiful: raindrops hanging on the clothesline.

The sands of time move in and out with the tide, to revisit other shores, some over and over again, perpetuating lessons, rebuilding sandcastles, and bringing messages, like the whispering ocean voice carrying secrets from seashells, the notes written in ancient languages in glass containers for translation.

Our times and life will always be changing, but, the strength that dwells within us never changes.
|
Though men may wish not to see the change, for no prophet is honored in his/her own town, God sees all~ judging only our hearts and not their perilous journeys.

Quote and four line poetry:
There is a hole in the hearts of those missing loved ones...
It cannot be filled with endless longing;
It cannot be filled with wishing and hoping;
It cannot be filled. Period.
