Any senseless poem that fails the reader's expectation should be tossed into the trash bin. Write something that inspires,, let emotions flow with harmony.

The blue and red thorns that sticked me made me

You were made to think that you can fight against darkness.
The truth is, you cannot fight a thing in its own domain.
The reason you see a need to fight darkness is the absence of light from within.
Unlearn all that has crippled your light.
Be awakened. Be enlightened. Then come before darkness, and it will disappear, for it cannot contend with light.

We are billions of spiritual atoms of clay compressed, myself doubting that God made me that quickly, haphazardly as biblically misinterpreted. Maybe just my daily garment off the rack.

A poem is as much written by the reader when it is read as it is written by the writer when it is written.

Warfare is the malignant use of directed energy. Inter-stellar warfare favors the defense, because an intrenched inhabitant has an enormous energy advantage over an approaching invader. So inter-stellar government will probably be federation or feudalism.

A poem should be considered the script of a role in a play which the reader is auditioning for.

Poetry is really only saying things with deeper, more aware commitment. Treatment of words in such a way that gives the reader desire and space for personal mental, spiritual interaction. In short, poetry is more thoughtful. To be poetic involves heartfelt communion on a creative level that does not exist even with dear, profound prose. Great prose often exhibit strong poetic language.

The constitution was deemed perfect but the legislatives are putting up gray holes in its laws. It needs not amendment because the law, by nature, is fine. What's lacking is compassion and faith. For the law is made for the human; it's not the human is made for the law.

A palm tree is not a tree. Imagine your embarrassment if your whole life you had thought you were a tree, and find out you are an overgrown blade of grass.
