Wow Gary, what an impressive way to tell something about yourself. I am so humbled of being one among the thousands who have free access to your poems. I love the cover as well as the book's name. It's not in my mind that there'll be a time any of my poems will be published.. Just that I before I submit some on our school paper before and some on magazines I tried but always use a pseudoname.. I am glad that you again will do a 2nd one.. wow!!! My congratulations!! and weeeee hope one day you'll be best seller author! :D! God bless you always and I pray God will induce more inspirations in you to forever keep that pen going... =')~olive eloisa

P.S. Olive . . . The paperback version of my book is not that expensive. You might want to consider one as a reference book. Just an idea!! . . . Best Wishes Always, Gary

Hello Olive Eloisa!! What ever you do, publish your works under your name and not a "nom du plume." I almost contemplated the same thing, but my wife reminded me that I should present myself with my real name so people will know who I really am. I will be happy to write with you sometime in the future if you want to. But please note that I write very carefully for book publication and my standard is far beyond that of Poetry Soup. Again, I'm very pleased you contacted me. And for the rest of my life, I'm all about producing quality books -- and so, have no fear, I will keep writing every day! Cheers and Best Wishes, Gary

I don't buy a book as much.. but certainly the first that I look for in any that I read is a catchy title and a cover.. One more is to read something about the author.. Your backgrounds tells so much that you have a broad source of muse.. I think you have such here...Wow! I'll be glad if one of these days we could write something.. weeeeeee.... ~olive eloisa

Thank Andrea!! Great hearing from you!! I've come over to the blog side as it is a great way to communicate with everyone. The second book will be bigger, but I will have more time to put it together than I did the first one. Best Wishes Always, Gary

Congratulations Gary! Good luck with your publisher Author House. They seem to have a lot of bad reviews from authors. Cheers, Roy

Hello Roy!! Thanks for your note here and your very wise words here. Yes -- I've seen the comments about AuthorHouse. My wife notice this after my first book was finished and published in April. I've been very careful with them. They made me a discount deal for my second book which I will follow through with. Beyond that . . . I may shop around for another publisher. We'll see how everything turns out. Regardless I own the copyright on my book and they can't take that away from me. Cheers, Gary

Thanks SKAT A. I'm glad I mentioned that I had a new book on the Blog here. I placed a couple of classified ads on PS about the book six weeks ago. (I don't think people read the ads much.) I really appreciate your comment!! Best Always, Gary

Thanks Robert My Good Friend!! Glad to hear my book is a hit with Justin. The second book will be probably twice the length as my first or more. And it will be longer because of the short stories to be included. Since I've been through this process once, I know what to expect -- a lot of work!! But, that why we write because it's in our blood!! Best Wishes to you and the family, Gary

Thanks so much Charma!! Very nice to hear from you!! I must get by to see your poetry as well. I figured the "Blog" was the best way to get the word out. I listed my new book in the Classified Ads a few weeks ago and then concluded that the ads are not read that much. Best Always, Gary
