I am a native of India, 79 years old. My two sons live in Detroit.MI and Charlotte NC and a son and a daughter in Canada. My grandson lives in Atlanta GA. I was born in Dwarka (Where Lord krishna ruled), had been a professor and Head, Department of English, N.A.Arts College, V.Vidyanagar, Gujarat, India. After retirement as a professor and Head of English in 1994, I split my time between India and North America.

 I visited France on a cultural mission in 1989 and presented a scene of the French dramatist Moliere's La Tartuffe in Paris.I also visited UK, Scotland and Ireland. I am a life member of the World Academy of Arts & Culture and attended its convention at IASI, Romania in October, 2002 and 25th World of Congress at Los Angeles in August, 2005. I also attended 4th Encuentro Internacional Literario at Montevideo, Uruguay in April, 2003.

I have been awarded the honorary degree of Litt.D -by The World Academy of Arts and culture at Los Angeles (USA), in 2005 (UNESCO sponsored).

My poems are published in Algeria, Australia, Argentina, Canada, India, Ireland, Italy, Nepal, New Zealand, Romania, Turkey, USA, UK, Uruguay and Zambia.

Thanks you very much for your contributions. The result of contest "Passions Pay, Not Patience" is out and my congratulations to all the winners.

Three very good poems are given Hon" mentions because they did not adhere to the rule

"any form of poetry except free verse". I am sorry there were some free verse poems so I could not break the rule.

My next contest will be on Nonet form and will be announced soon.

Thanks so much Dr. Ram for the HM........somehow I was one who overlooked that one rule........and yes........I agree, rules are rules, and I am just pleased that you were kind enough to honor my entry with an HM. I will try to pay better attention next time........thanks very much.....and congrats to all the winners!
