Another British soldier has lost his life in Afghanistan and so many others too. When will it end? As a mother of a Royal Marine who is due to go out there again soon, I suppose it touches me more than some, but I wish I could something to make it stop!

Here here Vince! There not one single life which is insignificant. The President wouldn't say that if it was one of his own. Look at the problems in South Africa - we haven't gone charging in there have we....... wonder why? Could it be because there's no financial gain from it I wonder?

My grandson is a US Marine in Okinawa. I'm praying this ends before his tour comes up. If we need to fight terrorism, then we need to fight it to win, not to be politically correct so our "leaders" don't get bad press. They make our troops expendable while they sit on their fat a--es and shop for oil. Our own president said our losses were insignificant. I wonder if he ever told that to a parent, spouse or child that their soldiers life was insignificant. God Bless. Vince

I wonder Steve. This violent world deeply worries me. the glimmer of hope is that it might be some kind of catharsis and one day a 'critical mass' of pacifists(in true Celstine Prophecy terms) will overwhelm the warmongers! I think I would have been a 'flower person' in the 60's but I am too young to qualify, albeit it just about!
