What It Feels Like To Fall Inlove

It's a rush.
It's nothing close to magical.
And it hurts.
It hurts as you realize that you cannot really comprehend.
It confounds you.
Not knowing why everything suddenly had a major shift.
Why the oh so perfected facade you have mastered through the years seems to fail you now.
Why indifference only makes you break your heart even more so.

It's nothing like the movies
Birds DO NOT sing when he enters
Time doesn't slow down or speed up
It remains just the same bland day that it is
Only that your heart feels like it would burst
And that your mind has gone blank from the rush
And then it hurts

Ironic how falling is matched with love
Antithesis in that it is called love
And yet to fall is tantamount to pain
Call it suicide if you want
It would change not a thing

It's never gonna be perfect
It's never gonna be like the songs
And its never magical
Its a rush
Like a freight train suddenly passing
Your body responding not to your mind
And your hopes so cruelly dashed
As you completely embrace the fall
