A Leaf Uncurled

A life once brought into the world
Is a new leaf uncurled
Breeze and storm it faces
At times the fire blazes
Withering or staying strong
Drooping or fluttering all day long
All around seeing things die
Until at last it's time to say goodbye
Farewell to thee dear life
