Thoughts of Losing You

Thoughts of Losing You

I stop and realize how life will be without you
I’ll never really know it will be a surprise.

Could I cope?
will there ever be any hope?

Sleepless nights
trying to make it through the struggles
and many fights.

Will I be able to handle the pressure?
Will I be able to hide my feelings like
An ancient treasure?

Crying to there is no more tears
and hopefully in the mist of my storm you appears.
Can I handle the pain?
I’m losing it, I’m so insane.

Could I imagine you with another chick
at a point you were there to cater to me while i was sick.

If I reach out for you would you let me fall?
Or will you there to heed to my call.

Will my life be the same?
Will the love we once share remain?
Will I ever be exposed to real again
or just caught up in more sin?

How will I make it through?
You said “you’ll never hurt me”
But was that really true?

Thoughts of losing you stay on my mind
I hope you are my soul mate a duplicate I will never find.
