Dear Learners

by: Shyane Roa

At school I am your second mom,
Keeping the classroom safe and calm.
A nanny when you need a hand,
Ready to help and understand.

Inside a room of many peers,
With different minds for me to steer,
I teach you through the busy day,
To help you learn, study and play.

But teaching you is not enough,
As many speak and act so tough.
The room is filled with noisy voices,
And chatter as the crowd rejoices.

I set up rules inside the class,
To make sure everyone can pass.
But when I scold for acting out,
The parents rage and start to shout.

Dear learners, do not feel upset,
My words are made with love, I bet.
Like Kiefer, who is my own son,
I want the best for everyone.

Dear parents, your child is like mine,
Together let us help them shine.
Through good guidance and discipline,
A strong child we can build within.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
