Inside Out

Looking out,
Into this world of mine.
I know,
That whatever this world is,
It is not mine.
Keeping everything inside,
Never letting your true feelings show,
It's this effect,
On me,
That this world seems to see me as.
Never letting your feelings show,
But who will ever know,
If I don't write it on a page.
What seems to be so close,
Really runs away from me.
Never did I realize,
But it never has seemed so clear to me.
I am shaped by society,
When I didn't realize who I am.
I have to let those feelings show,
And show them who I am.
Have to bring the inside out,
To have the whole world to see,
Because what I have just awaken from,
Is that I'm not truly me.
I have to turn inside out,
If I will ever be myself again.
Not depending on,
Someone else,
To shape myself into me.
I have to be fearless,
And just let it out,
Fearless,
I won turn my back on it now.

What might seem as words on a page,
May be truly what I say,
To myself,
Every part of the day.
It can be a memory,
This life I life today.
What might have been yesterday,
Feels like miles away.
So let your true feelings show,
And me your own you.
Because the only you,
Is you.
So turn yourself inside out,
Find out who you are,
Because leaving every part of me,
Inside of me,
Didn´t show the world who I am.
It is a part of me,
I cannot look away from another day.
Because I am,
Who I am,
And I can forgive myself for that,
But not from hiding who I am,
And not turning inside out.
