Nothing Missing

Why does my heart break
When I have lost nothing that I had
What road could possibly invite our travels
That is not rife with no outlet, and no reverse

Where have I gone, that I could not take you with me
What tree did I climb
Into which river's current did I fall
The stars are above us all, but sing no comfort of darkness back to me

No map has been drawn, no tether back remains
The wind that carries no hint of you
Has no mercies
This is the cliff

This is the cliff that we sought together
Where I now arrive alone
If I jump, I jump alone
You won't find me, but then again, you did not think to search

Why does my heart break
When I have lost nothing that I possessed
There is nothing missing, there is nothing missing
That was not here before

i felt sad reading that, the words jumped out to me, i could picture your lone self all alone, and i actually saw a cliff edge! i hope your romance life perseveres and God bless! cheers!
