His Woes In Hues

An artist at his worst
Never recognized at his best
Drew of his sunrises until
The sun begins to set.
Painted his oceans blue
Only to have others taint
Them with rue,
Alas, scribbled his thoughts
Of incomprensible grey,
In a bright deceitful array.

Hello! I’m a student in high school. I am currently working on a speech event where I am to preform poetry of other people in front of judges. I really liked your poem because I found it something very relatable to my topic and I like how well it was wrote. I was wondering if I could use your poem for this event. The title and your name will be given credit in my introduction.
