Ship of Soul

A valiant soul so close to mine
Yet it seemed so lost in time
Has found its way back to shore
Your ship shall sail away no more

The winds they tossed it to and fro
The battered sails knew not where to go
The anchor fell and time stood still
So God could reveal his will

You looked into the sea of hearts
But never knew where to start
And then He looked down on you and me
To place us where we both should be

How precious is God's grace and love
No doubt it came from up above
He heard the cries for tenderness
And held them in his righteousness

Eternal love is here to stay
God has found and made a way
For you to feel of love again
So let the long awaited journey begin
