To God

If I could have one wish and this wish would come true.
Then it would be to end life here and go live in heaven with You.
To walk along Your side, to love and hold Your hand.
To talk to You and listen, and follow everything You demand.
My Lord, You are almighty, and a sinner am I.
Yet You still accept my love though many others deny.
For You are the only One who knows the truest me.
You know my deepest thoughts and You see all that I see.
My God, my Lord, my Creator, Savior, and Love.
The Holiest of them all, You hold the key to what's above.
To the city of angels where all should want to be.
And please, my God, open up those gates someday for me.
I know I make mistakes and I know I sin and lie.
And I know I can be selfish and sometimes I don't try.
But my Lord, You put me on this earth, You made me breathe and live.
And I know You would have never done that if You weren't able to forgive.
So Lord, I ask You now, and I'd really like to know.
If someday I can be with You, just leave this earth and go.
To be with You in heaven, to wash and dry Your feet.
To be in a Holy world where someday We shall meet.
To have You by myself and also others there.
To believe the joy and happiness, to have You to share.
So if I could have one wish and this wish would come true.
Then it would be to live and love, then someday be with You.
