Who am I?

Who am i?
I often ask
Tho often thought
No answer comes back

My family now gone
I know not where
If ever needed
Were never there

So who else then?
A friend perhaps
A ray of hope
That will always lapse

Always thinking
They never cared
What’s in my heart
Never shared

Without the looks
Nor even the wit
Always passed by
No place i fit

Passed by many
On city streets
They see a person
But never see me

Is it a sin
That no one cared?
That no one knew
I was even there

You can’t forgive
What’s never known
Invisible i lived
And i died alone
