That Empty Place

There is a place, I saw
On this Earth
An empty place it is.
The surroundings there looked uncomfortable.
Everything there, found to be miserable.

Who is the owner of that place?
Why has he left it desolate?
Why has he chopped all the trees?
I find no plants anywhere there.
But there is a river flowing around the border of that place.

I saw birds flying all around to find the shelter.
Their chirping showed a great disappointment.
And the Cows herd searching the grass.
I was helpless, l was helpless.
And now I feel I should've done
Something to help those Birds and Animals.
