Lesly Dsouza Poem
Today I met my superhero.
My most favorite hero.
The superhero with Blue and Red dress.
He had a diamond on his heart.
Giant and wonderful he looked to my eyes.
As giant as a Dinosaur.
He was flying in the air,
Searching for anything wrong, anywhere.
Everywhere and everywhere.
From right to the left,
And from front to the rear.
He looked like a giant Kingfisher ,
Searching for the fish in the flowing river.
While I was watching him flying.
Someone from behind tapped me on the back,
While I turned, I saw a tall and the strong man.
I was astonished to see, The Superman.
Then he spoke to me like a brave man.
He asked me “Is everything fine?”
I replied him yes.
Then he took me for flying.
I was truly in enthusiasm.
But, finally I awoke from my sleep.
And realized that, it was a dream.
And I found out that,
It's because I watched: The Superman
movie, yesterday.
But, what a wonderful dream it was!

Lesly Dsouza Poem
One morning, I awoke from the sleep,
Like all those previous days.
And after all daily routines were done,
I planned for a morning walk.
I knew, everything was fine.
Tooth brush to the cup of tea,
Cloth to the walking shoes.
Everything line by line.
And walking in the morning is good for health.
But I felt something's not fine.
While I was on walk, I experienced
My worst day.
That was a futile walk for
me.
And a restless walk.
As restless as the situation of being Chased by the German Shepherd.
Everywhere, I could see faces mocking at me.
To whoever I met,
I felt like, they hate me.
My face, I felt to be ugly.
No one likes me and everyone hates me.
The day was not good.
That was truly a bad day for me.
Then, I sat under the green leaves of banyan tree,
Standing by the edge of the
Dark blue river, aside my walking road.
I then called back my whole day,
And whole of my daily routines.
I tried and tried, to find the cause for those nasty feelings.
And finally realized;
I didn't see my face in the silver mirror.

Lesly Dsouza Poem
There is a place, I saw
On this Earth
An empty place it is.
The surroundings there looked uncomfortable.
Everything there, found to be miserable.
Who is the owner of that place?
Why has he left it desolate?
Why has he chopped all the trees?
I find no plants anywhere there.
But there is a river flowing around the border of that place.
I saw birds flying all around to find the shelter.
Their chirping showed a great disappointment.
And the Cows herd searching the grass.
I was helpless, l was helpless.
And now I feel I should've done
Something to help those Birds and Animals.
