The One
Love is something that may come once
Don’t lose it by being a dunce
Don’t give in to a temptation
That will ruin your reputation
The love you hold is strong and deep
Don’t hurt her, even though you think she is asleep
The pain you will cause her is one unbearable
The ache she will feel will be most terrible
She will weep for your memories
She will yearn for your presence
Though the block in her head will form a resentment
If you love her you will not waste what love you have got
Or that will be all that she wrought
Your love is special and so is she
Treating her right is the key
And if you love her most dearly
You will respect her most sincerely.
