His Power

He is a lion,
He roars with mighty power,
never safe,
always good,
fear him,
respect him,
He is the God of the Universe,
I cannot,
put into words,
the enormity,
of his glory,
and his power,

Who else split the Red Sea,
Who else loves with such,
a never-ending love?
Who else’s grace,
is deeper than the sea?
Who else has shown,
so much patience,
towards the nations,
of the world,
when they turn against Him?
Who else starts a flame of passion,
with such power?

Who else shows grace,
to a harlot?
Who else’s anger,
is justified?
Who else shows grace,
to a murderer?
Who else shows grace,
to us,
the despicable human race,
whom turned against their creator?
Who else is still willing to love,
us?
Who else has died for the sake,
 of the human race?
Who else heals,
blind men?
Who else causes,
even the most far-gone sinner to repent?
Who else doesn’t look away,
when they know your shameful secret?

Hello Madelyn, this is a great poem. It depicts very well the greatness of the Lord. I love it, well done.
