This Feeling

I don't know if you've ever had this feeling...
This feeling that I lack words, actions and even emoticons that can explain,
This feeling that has made my world so rigid that it's no longer rotating,
This feeling that has made my hours; minutes, my minutes; seconds
and my seconds no longer make sense.
This feeling that makes me not to wish for a tomorrow,
Because tomorrow things might change.
This feeling that makes me believe in satisfaction even with nothing.
This feeling that with just a touch of hands, I feel a thrill in my spine.
That each time we are together my heart murmurs to question if it's happening.
This feeling...

Someone said it starts with a kiss,
A kiss that kills the friendship and perfects the moment,
But honestly this started with nothing,
And I feel every moment, even the "hi, hello" moments are perfect.
I won't call it love at first sight, love is blind you know.
It's like you used a charm, because this feeling...
I just can't describe.

Tell me I'm not the only one drowning in this feeling...
Tell me I'm not the only one hiding this feeling behind our rare conversations,
behind my crazy facial expressions, behind my smiles and light hugs,
Tell me even if it's a lie, at least for a minute make me smile,
Because it's what a lie does best, though it hurts most.
Tell me even if it's blur, I'll make it clear...
Tell me even if it's only for today, tomorrow I'll survive.
Tell me if it was ever there even if it's no more.
Just confirm to me I'm not lost in this unknown feeling.

They say love is for the birds,
If this feeling is love, let us be the birds...
Help me understand this feeling,
Help me describe it, if not in words at least in actions.
Save me if I'm the only one drowning,
Help me find a way, if I'm lost in this feeling.
Let's just make things clear, and give this feeling a name.
For it haunts me being nameless.

Welcome to PoetrySoup, Wendy. I had the feeling of urgency and panic in your words. (Or falling, falling, falling, in love.)
