Passing Time
Life is like an hour glass
glued to the table
as time slips away
memories begin to fade
There are no redoes
The hour has passed
The sand keeps flowing
Life keeps on going
So hold your head high
and seize the day
Life is your stage
The show has begun
Minute by minute
the hourglass goes
Yesterday is gone
and now is the time
to jump on up
and let yourself shine
for you may never know
when your turn is complete
and it is your turn
to take a seat!
