Look Within

2/4/23

No ifs ands or maybes
Daily
I'm seeing hatred
People still extremely racist
Meanwhile food and materials being wasted

I understand the messages these mummies meant
Continually money spent
Making matters worse, followed by a bloody event

Too often the crooked win
Always greedy they wouldn't give
For a better outcome I had to look within
Intelligence climbing, it feels good to live

Rude manners, near endless slander
With delusions of grandeur
Many being pampered
Over others they damper
Yet so easily they scamper
Like a backstabbing salamander

For so many I provide help
Yet why else do I just keep to myself
Nearby an ice shelf
Still struggling not always in nice health
It's been troubling what life dealt

My ancestors
Had lesser
Continually experienced bad weather
At that rate they can't ever
And shall never
Since people always have tempers
Often unable to understand better
I'm able to withstand the pressure
It almost got my hand severed

Like a bird in the sky
Get it done on the first try
While using the third eye

Soon to burn and die
Evil out to let another curse fly
Is there more to it, does the church lie?

Materials fine and pure or crude and coarse
Sad what people do for huge rewards
It never saw the light of day or was covered in news reports

I'm with you and by your side if you suffered much
Can't just fix it all with a blunderbuss
Nor expect any to be as just as us
Drank some rye whiskey and smoked a double dutch
Then an unbelievable amount of ground I covered such
To get it done was rough had to be tough with guts
Otherwise it took a different way and subtle touch

It's a cycle, time has orchestrated
Good and evil always existed, so what would happen if they correlated
The same question remains if different methods were incorporated

I see it clearly with or without a sober mind
This got old and is so unkind
Still humans on opposing sides
Remaining bonafide
I keep an open mind
Near and far from the ocean side
People need to be aware and notified
Before the powers that be attempt to override
Always out to keep folks confined
Then they want a vote of mine?
Yet others got thrown aside left with broken spines
For the greed of money through spoken lies
They say it all goes with time
Girl please don't cry
I got you, let's show them why
It can be done if you approach it right
