Empty
Drifting through space and time
Nowhere to go, nowhere to be
A life without a pattern or rhyme.
Like an empty shell with no life
A void recognized by only a few
Moving through a haze with strife.
Aching for that which is truly real
Something tangible and really here
An empty soul wanting to truly feel.
Questioning the when and where
Pondering this, that and the other
Reaching out, wishing it was here.
That other matching soul who knows
One who completes the musical note
The one who shines and with you, grows.
