Each and Everyday

Each and everyday
I miss a little more
Deeper stronger harder
What am I doing this for

Try as I might
To compromise and let go
Each and everyday
A little more pain will show

Out of my control
Opportunities surpassed
Love abandons all
Trust from my past

I felt the need to scream
But where does that leave me
Sobbing bawling blubbering fool
Is all that people see

I just need someone to tell me
That everything is clear
But each and everyday
More faith disappears

This is not something I wanted
There is too much too overcome
Each and everyday
I feel more and more done

How much longer can I go
When will it end
Each and everyday
I lose another friend

I wish I could explain
To everyone I see
That each and everyday
I lose a little more of me

my first thought after reading your poem is a sadness felt and an answer sought, yet the journey we call life has no answers sometimes...thank you for the poem
