Each and Everyday

Each and everyday
I miss a little more
Deeper stronger harder
What am I doing this for

Try as I might
To compromise and let go
Each and everyday
A little more pain will show

Out of my control
Opportunities surpassed
Love abandons all
Trust from my past

I felt the need to scream
But where does that leave me
Sobbing bawling blubbering fool
Is all that people see

I just need someone to tell me
That everything is clear
But each and everyday
More faith disappears

This is not something I wanted
There is too much too overcome
Each and everyday
I feel more and more done

How much longer can I go
When will it end
Each and everyday
I lose another friend

I wish I could explain
To everyone I see
That each and everyday
I lose a little more of me

Something Beautiful

I need something beautiful
To cancel out this stress
I need to fill a void too big
I’ve become such a mess

Everything I do I can feel
The empty cold blistering loss
Was where I put my energy
Really worth what it cost

My dreams are dissolving
Before my very feet
All I can do is watch
And take the ultimate defeat

Please I need something beautiful
To help to calm me down
Anxiety pours from my veins
I am so misfortune bound

No I do not need pity
For I shall always fight
But so many losses
Makes you start to wonder what’s right

Shivers creep down my spine
From horrors I’ve endured
Some things you can never get over
And some can never be cured

Please please I need something beautiful
To show me there is still hope
Is this life worth living
Will I ever be able to cope

I can look no further
For it is time for me to see
Something much more beautiful
Than this life could ever be.
