One Year Old

This menace is my son

Brings me a lot of fun

Always wants to run

Hates to eat even a little bun

I love oiling him

But he loves bathing

And is annoyed

If the taps aren't running

He bites the candies

Swallows rice

Dislikes chapatti

But oats are nice

Only if filled with spice

His actions during rhymes

Makes my eyes shine

If he gives a good take

Then the effort is all mines

This little one has many fans

They keep on visiting

Yet! the uploading of photos and videos are never ending.

Toys bore him

He is amazed by the sounds

Loitering is favorite pastime

Music makes him go round and round

I enjoy listening "shhooooo"

While tying his shoe lace up

And also "mum”

When his tumbler is bottoms up

Splashing water everywhere

Killing winter worries me

Leaking diapers don't bother him

Being naughty is 'Me'!

To sleep, he hides my phone inside him

As though I am a thief

I need to stare at him

The lullabies can take a leave

Some injections kept him healthy

Some drops, able

My son! You will always be in my prayers and

And a prayer too

'Dhairya', I love you

May you arise high like a star

That shines on its own

And also help others shine.
