Namaste

So, long I want to write to you
I am black and blue because of my absence, your view
Spiraling in stories of life, beyond what is, without proof, but the birds still sing of an old truth
Preoccupied
Opportunities, I shy
Reality calls as I’m falling from the sky again
But I want the ground to keep me
Want to learn to love some clarity
How could I want more than all the blessings on my shore
Thankful, sure, for reaching instead beyond 10/10

Drained you, drained me
Exist for her, fantasies drip off my soul
Dive in my dreams to swim around free
Wrapped in green, white, brown, gray…could we burn more coal?
Beauties around me but I can’t ever stay
Always getting higher than I can handle
can’t grip, get hold
But the ground’s never been my element
(You were harder than cement)

Let me steal away to the flow of these days
Singing, playing, swinging, limping, thinking, blinking, learning, taking
my time
Namaste
May your footprint show it’s reasons and rhymes
