Meant

I believe we were meant for each other
To be together for the rest of our lives
To be married to one another
To have a family together

I believe we were meant in this life
To cross one another’s path
To meet on the lunar eclipse
Our lives entwined into each other

I believe we were meant to be married
Even in a short period of time
To make it last forever
Never leaving each others side

I believe we were meant to have a family
No matter how others look at us
To walk our lives together forever
With children that we raise together

I know in my heart I am meant to love you
I believe in your heart you were meant to love me
To walk the long path ahead of us
Knowing there will be difficulties to face

As long as we stay strong for one another
There are a couple of things that I do know
I know in my heart we will make it through
I know in my heart we were meant for each other
