Times Get Hard
Times get hard
thoughts get tossed,
sometimes all my feelings get lost.
Lost inside my mind,
that I can not find.
I just need someone to tell me I'm fine.
Maybe if I just leave all my problems behind.
I won't feel the sorrow,
everything I feel,
feels so hallow.
Times get hard
all this anger and pain
never leaves, and it never feels tamed.
Sometimes all this pain I go through is lame.
Times get hard
to where I feel like I'll never get away.
Sometimes all I need is love.
Times get hard
Because all these problems are a fear,
the fear that feels so near,
near enough to never leave,
It just paves its way through my heart,
just enough time to tear it apart
