Thoughts

I wish I knew what these thoughts were.
 What they mean
 What they are
 What they want
 I can't seem to understand.
 I feel llike I'm drowning
I can't seem to stay afloat
 I'm struggling
 Overwhelmed
 Darkness sorrounds me
 Eats me alive
On my mind, I have so many thoughts
Thoughts that seem to have a mind of their own
 To hurt me
 To punish me
 To burn me
 Thoughts. Thoughts. Thoughts.
So much on my mind, yet
 So lost, confused, and empty.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Deep write, Beverly, in a way I've been through the struggle myself. Enjoyed the way you express your thoughts. LINDA
