Beverly Faustinelli Poem
When you realize that
You have fallen in love with
Something that was not
Suppose to exist
Something that was suppose
To be a dream
Something that was only supposed
To stay in a fantasy
A fantasy that only you
Had access to
But now your dream, your fantasy
Has become a part of you
A part of your reality
That you can never escape
From.

Beverly Faustinelli Poem
I wish I knew what these thoughts were.
What they mean
What they are
What they want
I can't seem to understand.
I feel llike I'm drowning
I can't seem to stay afloat
I'm struggling
Overwhelmed
Darkness sorrounds me
Eats me alive
On my mind, I have so many thoughts
Thoughts that seem to have a mind of their own
To hurt me
To punish me
To burn me
Thoughts. Thoughts. Thoughts.
So much on my mind, yet
So lost, confused, and empty.
