Why

The way you promised me,

The promise that was never fulfilled,

The promise that means nothing to you,

I hope you are feeling guilt.

The feeling of guilt holds a meaning,

A meaning of not feeling well,

Big Sis my childhood hero,

Where have you gone,

Where is that big sis that I wanted to hold,

Hold for hours,

Where have gone you all my life,

Big sis the meaning of a promise,

A promise that doesn’t mean anything too.

I hope you still love me,

That love I hold for you,

A bond that lasts a lifetime,

Apparently to you,

It means nothing to you.

My whole life ended up in tears,

That one promise you made it clear,

Clear to my conscious,

That you aren’t worthy of my trust,

Big Sister where are you now.

Big sister life holds a meaning,

A meaning towards life,

Life is one thing that should be held,

Held with care, love and promises,

But to you,

To you life isn’t worth the adventures,

Adventures that are meant for families,

I hope one day you are able to understand.

Big sister you are a broken promise.
