Over the Storm

The rain falling down my face,
The pain in my heart,
Losing you again,
Has torn me apart,

The thunder so loud,
The lightning so scary,
The feelings I have,
I just can't seem to bury,

The tornado's are real,
They twist and they turn,
My calls not answered,
My messages: Burned,

The floods come in,
Washing things away,
The memories remain,
Will I rebuild someday?

This storm is unforgettable,
The havoc was real,
Lost all I had,
This is how I feel.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

By the third verse you had me! I can feel the storm.
