Lois Barcomb Poem
The darkest place I have ever been,
The thoughts I had in mind,
I never thought I’d see this day,
And they say love is blind…
There are no words that I can say,
To show my gratitude,
For in the past, there were things,
That came out as being rude…
A friendship that can’t be broken,
A page that can be torn,
A book that has been read,
The cover totally worn,
You picked it up and wiped it off,
You read it once again,
You brought to it the beauty,
That it held within…
Now today, the covers gone,
The pages worn and shred,
What we shared will never die,
Even though we fled…
One more thing before I go,
Your book to me is cherished,
The story is one I can’t forget,
The book will never perish…

Lois Barcomb Poem
This friendship is not all it seems,
You now have made it into my dreams,
To see your smile meant so much,
Now I’m longing for your touch,
Your loving touch without a trace,
The smile you put upon my face,
Your words, soft, sweet and tender,
So much of me, my heart I render,
Your kisses I long for and desire,
Love is what we two conspire,
Kiss me here, kiss me there,
Run your fingers through my hair,
Wrap your arms around me tight,
Hold me close and through the night,
I hope this dream, it never ends,
For this is love between two friends…

Lois Barcomb Poem
This is what I have to give.
All of me! My heart is yours and will always be. Your the sun
in my sky, the tear in my eye, the smile on my face, when I
feel your warm embrace. What is it? My love!
The strength and the courage you have given me. You've held me
up when I was down. Now i'm strong, I stand my ground. I work
to gain all my dreams, all but one, so it seems. You, are a
part of it.
Support! You have taught me to never give up. To keep fighting
for the beliefs I have, and the dreams I desire. Now I want to
support you in the same way you have supported me. I love you, can't you
see?
Understand that what you have to give has already been done.
Can't you see, to me your the one?
