Your Ladies Dress

Your ladies dress, so red and oh so fine.
I hear whispers in the wind, oh how they are so divine.
I see your ladies footprints, their indented in the sand.
As you whisper softly, I watch you take her hand.
Her eyes tell a story, oh how yours turn the page.
Loving nights forever, as both of you grow with age.
Your ladies dress, oh so white and how divine.
Fresh rose petals falling as you pour her sweet wine.
A silver diamond ring, it holds her close to you.
As words are exchanged, I hear both of you say I do.
Your ladies dress, so wrinkled and oh so perfumed.
Knitting needles on the bedside, she’s falling asleep real soon.
I hear soft whispers and then age consumes.
How another winters past, now death is soon to bloom.
