Anxiety's My Best Friend

I swear to god that
Happiness is a drug
The only normal feeling I've got
Is when I feel stepped on
And my pieces swept under a rug
Depression is my normal
Anxiety's my best friend
A spark of energy
Only lasts a quick moment
Before it comes to a painful end
I don't trust a single word anybody tells me
Because if it ain't a lie
Well it sure as hell ain't genuine
People nowadays are so fake
Say they name is Chris
But really they's a Benjamin
Make rumors up about you
And call themselves a gentleman
Say they are a one of a kind
But they just a damn imitation
Say they wanna change the world
But act like they got limitation
I ain't one to judge
I don't know your situation
But God put you on this earth
Don't be a waste of his creation.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
