The Letter You'Ll Never Read

This is the letter you will never see
Since the moment I met you, you were my person
Your smile has the ability to drop me to my knees,
and your laugh makes my heart beat out of my chest.
I know the exact color of your eyes in every lighting,
and I sense your reactions before they happen.
I crave you in the most innocent way.
I crave your warmth, your smile, your laugh
I crave the way you look at me
I wish to hold you, all night
and I want nothing more than to wake up to that smile
I lost myself, for such a long time
You made me see myself again, through your eyes.
Maybe I am not such a bad person, after all.
I cannot fathom belonging to anyone else,
and yet what choice do you leave me.
I have waited, five months, to make your arms home.
I have wondered what imprint your lips would leave on mine,
for five months.
You say you aren't ready
that you want to see where this goes.
Which is it?
When will you see that I would do anything
for that smile, and that laugh.
I would do anything to make you happy.
You see, my dork, since I met you my world has turned upside down.
My thoughts always consist of you
I only feel safe, with you.
I would give anything at all for a chance.
Just one chance to show you the person I can truly be
the lover I can be
the woman I could be, for you.
The parts of me that are hidden, waiting to show.
I want to show you exactly what you mean to me.
Please, just give me a chance.
Giving up on you is unimaginable.
Not impossible. But unwanted.
I am yours.
Just as I have been since the very first day I saw your smile,
since I felt your presence light up the darkness that surrounds me.
please. One chance, just one.
Loving you without being able to express it may kill me otherwise
