Calling Me From Above

0:08 -- With the sky shining so high and so blue,
Why'd I ever choose to run with you?
The earth looked appealing for a moment,
Yeah, thanks to you.
Yeah. Thanks to you.

0:26 -- I doubted myself in ways so unfair
With the blue sky calling me from above.
Oh, that blue sky.
Oh, the call.
Why'd I ignore the calling blue sky?

0:44 -- Safety was in the sky.
Oh, and yet I ignored it.

0:57 -- I doubted myself in ways so unfair
With the blue sky calling me from above.
Oh, that blue sky.
Oh, the call.
Why'd I ignore the calling blue sky?

1:13 -- I fell hard, so hard.
It was a fury, a dying star.
And tho I knew that the sky was calling:
I chose to become your earth,
And leave the sky behind.
And the fall and all that pain was just for you.
Yeah, just for you.
And oh, I broke. I shattered.
Unable to break away from the earth
to heed the call of the clear, blue sky.
I don't know why I tried.

*Lyrical Pause*

2:42 -- I doubted myself in ways so unfair
With the blue sky calling me from above.
I doubted myself in ways so unfair
With the blue sky calling me from above.

2:58 -- Pushing away from the earth,
I leaped to return to the sky. To the sky.
And the sky was not the same,
As it once had been.
As it once'd been!

03:14 -- Oh, that blue sky.
Oh, the call.
I don't know why I ignored the call. 03:22
