On a Thought
A thought is just a thought they say
Little do they know of its strengths
Its ability to form, grow, expand, twist,
manipulate, scare, attack, stick, hold,
start trouble, destroy, cause panic,
distress, terrify, cause doubt, produce
chills ever so cold, enforce wrongful action,
terrorize, walk heavy on sweet and innocent
souls, make us run, conclude, assemble
problems, dismember us from ourselves
A thought is just a thought they say
Little do we know how well it can stem
