Calm Before the Storm

On a night so
calm but shadowed,
as the calm begins 
the storm,

there’s a hast 
of almost glowing,
and a dark
begins to form,

quiet sense appears 
to beacon,
as the unsecure
is born,

feel the breeze 
of melting silence,
feel the rage until
the dawn.
