If

If I could take away
the pain in your eyes
and replace it with Joy
I would.

If I could take away
the darkness in your heart
and replace it with light
I would.

If I could take away
your useless arm
and replace it with a healthy one
I would.

If I could take away
your stumbles and falls
and give you back balance
I would.

If I could take away
your frailty
and give you strength
I would.

If I could take away
your despair
and give you hope
I would.

But for now
I will hold your hand,
Tell you Im here,
Show you I understand.

For once, the pain
was in my eyes,
and now its in yours
It shouldnt be this way.

And If I could take away
that pain in your eyes
and fill them with Joy
I would.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
