My Gift

I never asked for
this gift
It came to me.
Now its a perfect fit
I write sometimes
to escape
To escape the
realities of today.

My life is never
boring
For I have many
untold stories.
Come, sit for awhile
Let my imagination
take over
You will like what
you discover.

Nothing is of false
attitude
Just a lot of untold
truth.

My mind is chaotic
at times
I wouldn't trade it
for a minute.

I hear all of the
sweet chimes
Pen to paper or
fingers to keys,
Whatever it takes
to appease.

I have a growing
audience
That gives me a
place of ambience.

I didn't ask for this
gift
But with that.....I
don't regret having
it!
